Exhibition - Nature’s Palette

A warm welcome is extended to all, to attend an upcoming Exhibition between myself and my neighbour 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐀 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 showcases a beautifully vast collection of birds in the skies and nestled in their natural habitats and the captivating underwater world, featuring majestic turtles and the mesmerising beauty of marine life. Each piece aims to highlight the rich and diverse colour palette found in nature through each stroke of their paint brush.

My artwork takes visitors on a journey above ground, with artworks capture the grace and elegance of the creatures of the sky. Through my art, I hope to inspire a greater appreciation for the avian world and the delicate ecosystems they inhabit. Using watercolour, a medium that embodies elegance, I strive to capture the essence of these magnificent creatures, my art transcends mere visual representation; each brushstroke is a labour of love aimed at celebrating the freedom and grace birds exemplify. It serves as a gentle reminder to pause, appreciate, and find solace in the simple wonders of the natural world.

Sandra’s artworks not only celebrates sea creatures but also raises awareness about their preservation. “My work offers a poignant blend of beauty and advocacy for those who appreciate art that delights the eyes and tells a meaningful story,” she said. Sandra hopes to foster a deeper connection between viewers and the marine life she so passionately champions. This exhibition is a testament to the artists’ shared passion for nature and their commitment to its protection.

Art Hunt | II

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 | As a token of my gratitude for the community's support and encouragement, I am giving back through random 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬.

An A3 giclée print, on museum-grade, acid-free 280gsm cotton will be left at a random spot in Yeppoon for someone to find. On the morning of the hunt, a photo of the location will be shared on 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 – 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 & 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬. The print, which is valued at $129, will be located within a 50 metres radius of that location.

Next hunt will be this coming 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟓 … the print is Max, a rather strapping red-tailed black-cockatoo named after the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧.

Happy hunting!
